THE IDEA

Once you step foot on Cedar Lake Cellars’ (CLC) property, you step into another world. Four hundred picturesque acres and two lakes surround this unique winery and event venue in Wright City, Missouri.

Since owners Carl and Gabriella Bolm purchased the property in 2002, they started restoring the old farm buildings and had the vision to build it into one of St. Louis’ premiere event locations.

As the company has grown, the online presence needed to as well to reflect the beauty of the property and memorable experiences had there.

The new online experience features videos and parallax imagery that bring to life the expansive views of the property. Customer reviews throughout the site tastefully lend perspective on everything from the delicious food options to large wedding events. And who can forget wine? The project also entailed our team photographing all of CLC’s private label wine collection for a new online catalog. 

Responsive design


Designed with speed and mobility in mind, the site is built to showcase the most-accessed content first, including a landing page that is updated and optimized weekly to promote this weekend’s specials and music lineup. We also added e-commerce capabilities to allow for new revenue streams for the winery – fire pit and picnic table rentals.

While we tried our best, experiencing Cedar Lake Cellars on a screen still does not do it justice. Visit them year-round, every weekend.
